Dear Horizons at Harley Supporters,
Welcome to the first edition of our Spring 2024 Saturday Enrichment Newsletter! We are thrilled to kick off this season with a focus on swim safety and family bonding. Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of hosting 10 parents and caregivers along with 16 enthusiastic children for a delightful morning of activities.
The day began with a scrumptious breakfast spread that brought everyone together and was funded with a new grant from the Greater Rochester Health Foundation, setting the stage for a day of fun and learning. While the adults embarked on a swim lesson led by our expert instructors, the kids ventured to the Wellness Center for engaging sessions focused on social and emotional development, guided by our skilled teachers.
As the morning unfolded, laughter and excitement filled the air as families reunited at the poolside for a refreshing session of free swim. It was heartwarming to witness the bonds strengthening as parents and children splashed and played together, reinforcing the importance of water safety in a joyful environment.
After all the water adventures, we gathered for a delicious lunch, sharing stories and relishing the camaraderie that defines our Saturday Enrichment gatherings. With satisfied smiles and promises of more fun to come, we bid farewell until our next gathering.
