Dear Horizons Parents / Guardians;

On behalf of all the staff here at Horizons, we would like to wish you and your family a Happy New Year! We are pleased to announce that on Monday January 16th, we will once again host our annual MLK Day event at The Harley School. This event is for Horizons and Harley students and we would be thrilled if your family would join us to celebrate this day. The Harley School MLK Day is a morning of community service projects performed by students and adults. The projects have been inspired by children and focus on helping those in need. Projects include making Valentine’s Day bags for hospitalized children; birthday bags that include cake mix, frosting and candles; and foot care packages for a local foot clinic. Harley and Horizons students have always participated in this activity together, and we plan to continue this wonderful tradition. After the MLK Day tasks are completed, Horizons students are invited to swim in the pool and then have lunch.
