Congratulations to Horizons at Harley Executive Director, Luis A. Perez for being awarded the Horizons National 2013 Leadership Award given annually to an affiliate Executive Director for demonstrating exemplary leadership within their program and within the network at large. With the recognition Mr. Perez recieved a stipend towards a professional development conference of his choice.

We are excited to greet our 19th season providing City of Rochester students and families with an experiential learning environment. We will have an entrepreneurial focus, as our students at all grade levels participate in studying the overall theme of the “business of books”.

Official Program Visit Days

Our goal is for students to showcase their work, research, findings, and business models during the Book Fair to be held in week five of the program. The curriculum for all grade levels will also emphasize Community Service. Come and visit all of our students on Tuesday and Thursday, July 9^th and 18^th

STEM

The STEM subjects – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math – are emphasized in the Horizons curriculum. One field trip took our students to Lake Ontario to gather lake samples for study.
