Close-knit Classroom Learning
4th graders work closely with their teachers to learn about different habitats. With fifteen students per classroom, two teachers, a teaching assistant, and student volunteers, Horizons at Harley students receive direct and individual attention in their learning.
Students eagerly view books at the Book Fair – each student chooses a favorite book to bring home!
“Swimming!” is a common response when we ask students about their favorite moment of the day. All students attend regular swim lessons and work closely with swim instructors as a integral part of the Horizons program.
All Middle Schoolers take expeditions in areas of interest. While these two seventh grade students attend their Drawing Expedition, other students participate in options such as Rowing, Financial Literacy, Music and Video Production.
The Pre-K students were excited to have their first weeding experience in the Harley Garden this summer! They got their hands dirty and made room for the vegetable plants to grow.
